Alison Tucker, NP

Alison is a 2004 graduate of Western Carolina University with a master’s degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Degree. Prior to becoming an NP she worked in medical-surgical nursing and critical care nursing for many years (15+). Her work experience as a nurse practitioner has been in Internal Medicine, working in McDowell County and Buncombe County prior to coming to BPC in October 2008. She is interested in health maintenance/prevention and Chronic Health Issues, including Women's Health.

She and her husband, Kevin, have an infant son and three dogs. Her outside interests are playing with her son and dogs and being active in her community. She and her husband, Kevin, are working to become foster parents. She also enjoys cooking and needlework.
