Deborah H. Waechter, MD

Dr. Deborah Waechter is from Boone, North Carolina. She has a BS in Biology from Appalachian State University and received her medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. Dr. Waechter completed her residency at Greenville Hospital University Medical Center for Family Medicine where she was Chief Resident from 2001 - 2002. Dr. Waechter joins Burke Primary Care from her family practice in Granite Falls. She has practiced medicine in Western NC for over seven years.

Dr. Waechter resides in Lenoir with her husband David and their three young children. They co-own and operate Whistler Pig Acres Farm in Lenoir, NC. Dr. Waechter enjoys relaxing in the outdoors, music, traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
