Keith Smith, MD
Dr. Keith Smith graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston after completing his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Clemson University. He served as Chief Resident at his Family Practice Residency program at Anderson Memorial Hospital. After completing his residency, he moved to Morganton to work with Dr. Plyler at Medical Heights Family Practice, which later became Burke Primary Care.
Dr. Smith is married to Kim Ervin, a Morganton native. They have three children, Dorothy, Stephen and Caroline. The Smiths have horses, cats and dogs and live on a small farm. Dr. Smith enjoys being outdoors when he can. He has an interest in chronic disease management and occupational medicine. |
