Deborah H. Waechter, MD Biography

Originally from Boone, Dr. Waechter received her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and achieved her medical degree at East Carolina University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Greenville Hospital University Medical Center for Family Medicine where she was Chief Resident from 2001 to 2002. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in Western NC for 18 years. Waechter joined Burke Primary Care in September 2009.

Dr. Waechter and her husband, David, live in Lenoir with their three children. She enjoys music, traveling, reading, relaxing in the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. They spend a lot of time at sporting events for their children.
