COVID-19 Testing at Burke Primary Care

Burke Primary Care has a variety of COVID-19 tests available for our patients from a 15-minute point-of-care test to antibody tests.  All testing requires an order from a medical provider to bill insurance. 

Antigen Point-of-Care test:  Antigen test for active COVID-19 with results available in 15 minutes. 

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test:  Laboratory test for active COVID-19 with results from laboratories available in 3-7 days.

Antibody test:  Antibody tests are used to determine if a person had the COVID-19 virus previously by measuring the patient’s antibody response.  Burke Primary Care has point-of-care antibody tests available in 15 minutes and laboratory antibody tests available in 3 days.

Burke Primary Care continues to do our part in reducing the opportunity for spreading the virus by requiring everyone to wear a mask, social distancing, shields at our front desk, temperature checks at the entrance, and testing patients with COVID-19 symptoms.  All COVID-19 positive patients have virtual visits with our Team as they isolate at home.
